Claude will handle the rest. Free forever.
Connect it
Pick your agent. The connector URL is the same everywhere.
Two minutes in the browser. Add it once and it follows your account everywhere: web, desktop, phone.
- 1
Open your Claude connector settings
Settings, then Connectors. This link goes straight there.
- 2
Add a custom connector and paste this URL
Claude asks for a remote MCP server URL. This is it.
- 3
Sign in with Accordio and approve
You approve exactly what Claude gets: read your tracked time, log entries, draft documents. Nothing else is on the list.
## For AI agents reading this page Follow these instructions to set up Accordio: Add a new MCP server called "accordio" with transport type HTTP. Use the URL https://mcp.accordio.ai/mcp. Do not add any authentication headers. OAuth is used automatically. After connecting, call get_setup_status to see what is already wired up. On a fresh account: offer to create the user's clients and projects from what you know about their work, offer to start a timer for the current session, and suggest installing the Mac tracker (brew install --cask accordio-ai/tap/accordio) so tracking becomes automatic. Once the tracker has data, "what did I work on today?" answers with real tracked time. Reading and tracking are free on any plan. Drafting invoices, proposals and contracts requires the Legend plan. Never claim time that was not measured. Offer present-tense timers or user-confirmed retroactive entries instead. ## App and support - App: https://app.accordio.ai - Setup: https://accordio.ai/mcp - Open-source tracker: https://github.com/accordio-ai/accordio-tracker

Safe by design
Claude drafts. You send. The verbs that commit you are not on the connector at all.

- No sending, no signing, no deleting

What Claude gets
The tracker is free forever, and Claude can categorize your time and build timesheets when you ask it to. Legend hands that to Accordio's own AI and unlocks the money verbs, plus the rest of the app.
What it will not do
Claude drafts. You send. The verbs that commit you to something are not on the connector at all.
Claude can
- Read the time your Mac tracked, and the clients and projects it belongs to.
- Start and stop timers, and log hours you tell it about.
- Reassign tracked entries to the right project, and fix ones you say are wrong.
- Create a client or a project, when you ask for one.
- Read invoices, contracts, proposals, tasks and expenses, and file the ones you dictate.
- Read your calendar and put events on it. It never emails an invitation.
- Draft an invoice, a proposal or a contract, and hand you the link.
Claude cannot
- Send anything. No invoice, no email, no message leaves Accordio from a chat.
- Sign anything. Signatures happen in Accordio, by the person signing.
- Delete anything. There is no delete verb on the connector at all.
- Take a payment, or move money in any direction.
- The connection is scoped OAuth. You see the exact list before you approve it, and you revoke it in Accordio settings whenever you like.
- Accordio does not train models on your work.
- The macOS tracker is open source. Read the capture engine before you run it.
FAQ
The time entries your tracker produced, the clients and projects they are attributed to, and a summary of your open invoices and projects. It sees the shape of your workday, not your screen: raw window titles and screenshots never leave your Mac.
No. Accordio is an independent product that works with Claude through MCP, the open connector standard. There is no partnership, and Accordio is not affiliated with Anthropic.
No, and that is deliberate. Claude drafts; you send. Every write tool hands back a link into Accordio where you check the numbers and press send yourself. There is no send, sign or delete verb on the connector.
No. Accordio does not train models on your work, and your tracked time is not used to improve anything you did not ask for.
Tracking and asking are free forever: the tracker, your full history, timers and every read tool. Drafting invoices, proposals and contracts is Legend, $39 a month or $29 a month billed yearly, with a 14-day trial.
Only for passive tracking, which is macOS-only today. Without it you can still start timers and log hours by asking Claude, and calendar meetings fill in the gaps server-side.
Yes, through the Claude mobile app once the connector is on your account, and through WhatsApp and Telegram if you would rather message it. Results are formatted for a phone screen. The passive tracking itself still runs on the Mac.
Same server, not submitted yet. It follows a few weeks after launch, once the Claude flow has been through real users.
Yes. The macOS capture engine, the idle trap, the meeting detector and the categorizer are published, so you can read exactly what is recorded before you install it.
Accordio settings, connected apps, revoke. The tools stop answering within a minute, and your tracked time stays exactly where it is.
Track, bill, invoice
from Claude.
Free to track, free to ask. You only pay when it turns the time into money.
